Since our beginnings, we have focused what it takes to succeed in business, which is exemplary customer service. On our very first business cards, way back in the seventies, we printed, "A Business Based on Performance." That slogan still stands and that philosophy still guides our team.
"I feel I have a responsibility to take care of those people who are taking care of me," said founder Conn Shute. "If you treat them well they'll come back and they'll send their friends. That's how we've run the business for nearly forty years."

C&S Carpet and Floor Coverings is the only business in the area that does everything in the world of floor covering. Our staff are acknowledged experts in sales and installation of hardwood floors, carpet, tile, laminate, stone, ceramic, limestone, slate, marble, vinyl, bamboo, sisal and seagrass flooring. We have many satisfied customers who chose our skilled team to sand and refinish their existing hardwood floor back to its original beauty and luster.
In addition, the cleaning department at C&S Carpet and Floor Coverings deftly handles all needs for carpet cleaning, furniture & upholstery cleaning, tile, grout & natural stone cleaning, and marble polishing. There is nothing related to floor covering that they can't take care of. "If you can put it on the floor, we can sell, install and maintain it," said Conn.
C&S Carpet and Floor Coverings has a department for homeowners and one that works exclusively with realtors. We have a commercial department as well that handles flooring needs for property managers and businesses.
